How reflexology works

Stress or disease can deprive different parts of the body of oxygen and important nourishment, by applying pressure on certain reflex points relating to these, reflexologists increase blood flow to those areas.

The foot contains thousands of nerve endings; reflexology may help to stimulate the whole nervous system and so restore natural balance and encourage the body to start its healing process.

What the treatment involves?

The average session takes about 45min to 1 hour. At your first appointment the reflexologist will note your medical history, specific condition and also discuss your general lifestyle.

This helps the practitioner adjust the treatment to your needs.

The Reflexologist will also suggest how many treatments will be beneficial for you.

How often You should have your treatment?

It very much depends on each individual case and your response to the treatment but after the natural balance of your body is restored, you may wish to return for a regular monthly treatment or so.
